Why do so some people don't want to wear a condom?
Oftentimes we hear about the advantages and benefits of using a condom but what about its negative consequences? Here we picked out some of the most common complaints and solution to these problems.
Uncomfortable fit
Most common complaint is the fit issue of condoms. Condom are either too tight, too loose or it squeezes the foreskin too hard. That’s why it is very important to know one’s size before using a condom. All bodies are different so we have to use the right size according to our body. We recommend measuring your own size and buying the condom according to that size.
Causes loss of erection
Some also complains about loss of erection or they cant feel anything when they use a condom. Naturally there is a decrease of sensation when using a condom because it’s nature is to avoid direct contact with the skin or bodily fluids and act as a barrier protection against pregnancy and STIs. We recommend you to consider using thinner condoms. Thin condoms are just as effective as regular ones but it can significantly increase the sensation. You can also try condoms that are designed for increased sensitivity like textured condoms (ribbed or dotted), or you can try to adjust the size and make sure you are wearing the right fit for you.
Latex Allergy
Are you or your partner is allergic to latex? As the majority of condoms are made of thin rubber latex, this can be fairly difficult for you. Some signs of latex allergy reaction is swelling, burning and chafed. This can turn into pain rather than pleasure! There is some good news, though. You can use non-latex condoms as an alternative. Polyisoprene or polyurethane is used to make these condoms, with polyisoprene being slightly less expensive. Non latex condoms offers the same benefits as that of latex condoms.
Slippage
Does you condom slip off? Majority of condoms comes with a pre-lubricated lubricant to make it easy and comfortable when using. If your condom is is coming off merely from the lubricant in the packet, the problem is probably with the condoms size rather than the lubricant. You should consider using slimmer fit condoms and see if it solves the slippage issue.
If you are experiencing one or more of these issues, try our suggestion and see if it helps. There are a wide range of condoms in the market for you to explore if you haven't found your style or brand that works for you yet.
